As an entry level mixing desk the 2642 provides flexible routing on all its 8 mono and four stereo channels, as well as 6 aux sends on all chanels and four additional stereo in's which are all freely routable.

Behringer MX2642A

Mute and PFL is included on all channels (with LED status indicators) and allows quick and easy live use, and the sub-groups/master section provide a small yet quite comprehensive recording/FX sending option, or Sub mastering for live work.all Mono's have 3band EQ with sweepable mids and a Low Cut, and all Stereos have 4 band EQ.

I've used the desk for several Am-Dram productions and in recording situations, and although it may suffer from not having built in FX, it has certainly never failed to be an easy to use desk delivering high-quality mixing and output. It does benefit from having Inserts on the Mono's allowing signals to be routed to external sound prosessors etc. for the price (£232.37 inc VAT) Behringer have certainly delivered a top quality package!
