PLASA is the No1 show for the entertainment technology industry, and is a four day event where you can discover what's new from Trantec in 2009. The spotlight will be on the Trantec S-D7000 – the world’s first professional fully digital wireless microphone system that is already in use at GMTV for their presenters and guests. Noteworthy features include 24 bit audio resolution, network monitoring for over 60 channels, and you can now benefit from over 20 user channels in an 8MHz TV band! Trantec will also be previewing their brand new S6 wireless system which builds on the success of the S6000 range, taking the 19", 8-way concept to a higher level. Trantec has now incorporated a comprehensive user interface on the front panel allowing the user to configure and monitor all channels, with or without an external PC. Based on Trantec's award-winning technology, the internal circuitry of the S6 beltpack and handheld transmitter has been redesigned and upgraded, extending the frequency capability to a massive 72MHz. The S6 system operates from 590MHz to 865MHz to cope with the imminent regulation changes within the industry. On its release, the new S6 will offer an excellent cost per channel – beating off some of those recession blues! Packed with a powerful set of features, the S5.3 system is 16 channels of pure value for money, and adding even more flexibility is the 24 channel S5.5 system, which is also now available “Racked’n’Ready”. Alternatively, the S4.4 is an ideal entry level system featuring four licence-free channels; or the S4.16, a 16-channel version incorporating many additional features, including its availability in ‘Racked’n’Ready’ versions.
