Expanding Shure's wide range of installation
ready microphones, a brace of new Microflex® models will be previewed ahead of
their official launch. Models include
mini gooseneck, boundary type and multi-element microphones in wired and
wireless formats and innovative LED indicators for easy monitoring. Wireless models are compatible with SLX
Wireless Systems offering rapid setup and exceptional audio performance via Shure's
Audio Reference Companding ® technology. For greater flexibility, certain
models offer interchangeable microphone capsules, a choice of polar patterns
and different finishes. Perfect for vocals, DJ, PA, and stage monitor applications QSC's new HPR122i powered loudspeaker will also be on show. The HPR122i offers the professional performance, appearance and ruggedness of high-powered plywood enclosures without the associated weight and cost penalties. With an internal amplifier built to the same demanding specifications as QSC's established power amplifiers, the HPR122i cleanly and effortlessly achieves a maximum output of 131dB SPL. The speaker can be pole-mounted using its internal socket or flown with the aid of nine integral M10 suspension points making it ideal for fixed and mobile applications. Unlike some powered loudspeakers incorporating low-cost "chip amps", the HPR122i's proprietary power module incorporates the same circuit designs used on QSC's top-selling RMX Series amplifiers. QSC's Acoustic Design Series of professional installation loudspeakers expands with the addition of three new models; the AD-S32 full range surface mount speaker, AD-C42T ceiling speaker and AD-C8iT-W ceiling subwoofer. Each model is acoustically and aesthetically matched to existing AcousticDesign Series speakers to ensure uniform audio quality and consistent visual style in any environment. The AD-C42T is also compliant with current Life Safety regulations by virtue of its ceramic terminal block, thermal fuse, dual cable entry points and integral steel back can. Building on the continued success of QSC's QSControl.net products, the new SC28 Digital System Controller combines leading edge audio quality with out of the box simplicity. The 2 input, 8 output SC28 offers preset tunings for all QSC loudspeakers, a library of configurations and user-adjustable equalisation and delay. The SC28 uses 48 kHz, 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion with 32-bit, floating point DSP for wide dynamic range and low distortion. Advanced DSP is capable of implementing tunings that incorporate IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) as well as FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters.
