World Launch: DigitalSpot 5000 DT
Robe Show Lighting launches its
revolutionary new DigitalSpot 5000 DT at PLASA 2005, a 5000 ANSI Lumen output
digital moving head projector.
Robe recognises the growing
convergence between lighting and video media with this new series of fixtures,
fuelling the increasing desire of lighting designers to have access to and
control of video and ‘visual’ design in addition to lighting.
The highly versatile Robe
DigitalSpot 5000 DT offers two digital gobo layers with the selection of up to
255 video clips or images per layer and an image resolution of 1024 x 768 x 3
Pixels. There’s individual X and Y positioning and scaling (zoom effect) for
each gobo layer, plus rotating and indexing with continuous rotation for each
gobo layer. The gobo layer is transparent for the smoothest cross fading.

multi-purpose venues .. anywhere there is a need to maximise moving lightings

server located inside the base of Robe’s ColorSpot 575AT, making it incredibly
easy to rig onto a truss or wherever else needed.
MediaHub has four
parallel outputs to send the video content to plasma screens or via LCD
displays, projectors and display devices of any other type. It combines 2
digital layers with a selection of up to 255 video clips or images per layer.

heads. A completely new optical system makes it 50% brighter than its
predecessor, the Wash
250XT. New ultra smooth CMY colour mixing offers a fantastic spectrum of hues.
A motorized zoom effect ranges from 8 - 32° and the extremely silent cooling
system and movement make this fixture a superb choice for TV and theatre.
The colour wheel offers 6 saturated colours plus
open, using Robe’s renowned SLOT&LOCK system. A frost filter and a beam
shaper are available on the effects wheel, and as with all Robe AT moving
heads, 16-bit resolution is used for movement, colour wheel positioning and
dimming.

Robe. The DMX-controlled StageBanner enables the displaying and rotation of
advertising banners at exhibitions, on stages and in theatres. It’s perfect for
retail environments and other applications where advertising needs to be
highlighted.
StageBanner also runs in stand-alone mode,
easily programmed via the onboard 4-digit LED display on the base. Up to 3
programmes can be stored, each containing up to 99 steps. Master/slave
operation is also available, so several StageBanners can be connected together
and controlled from one unit.
Rotation is possible in both directions in
various speeds and very smooth and precise movement is guaranteed by the
utilisation of 16-bit resolution.
The latest in this series are the new StageBanner
50 AT and 50 AT Multimedia units, which follow on from massive interest in
the StageBanner 10 AT.
