new_technology_show_2_ukslc.org Stage Electrics New Technology Show recently held at The Sage Gateshead didn't disappoint those wanting to get their hands on the latest equipment.

Manufacturers Yamaha, Roland, MA Lighting, ETC, RCF and Avolites exhibited their latest products including a LS9 Desk, the Roland Digital Sound Snake, a GrandMA Light & Pico, the ETC Smart Fade & Congo jr, the RCF TT speaker range and an Avolites Pearl Expert. Martin products also featured at the show including TW1's, MAC700 Wash, MAC250 Wash and Entour and the new Stagebar 54.

Stage Electrics staff presented Color Web, which was a key interest at the show with an 8m x 4m section suspended along one side of the exhibition hall, acting as an impressive backdrop, enabling visitors to see the visual potential of the product as well as the webbing structure in close detail. The Colorweb system was programmed by Projected Image Digital, who provided on site advice and demonstrations of the PixelMAD LED mapping software and media server throughout the day.

Stage Electrics also presented the Apollo Right Arm, its functional design makes it easy to add DMX control of pan and tilt to a wide variety of lighting, video and projection devices. Also at the show was the HME DX200 wireless communication system which provides crystal clear, secure and interference free communications, together with products from Swisson and Prolyte.

Ed Gamble Business Development Manager said "It has been a fantastic event for both manufacturers and customers, spending time together taking an in depth look at some of the most exciting new technology in the marketplace, all in the fantastic surroundings of The Sage Gateshead. The show has been a great success and I am confident that we have created the foundations for regular future events in the North East of England."
