lx-300_right When the curtain goes up at the USITT show in Phoenix, Ariz. (March 15 - 17), the spotlight will fall on the Meyer Sound booth (#1200), and a notable new product that is likely to become an indispensable tool for theatrical sound designers around the world.

In addition to the product debut, a key attraction will be a hands-on demo station for the LCS Series Matrix3TM audio show control system. Complete with the revolutionary SpaceMap® multichannel panning software and Wild TracksTM hard disk recording and playback, Matrix3 now provides even greater power and flexibility in controlling complex and dynamic audio effects in theatrical presentations like Cirque du Soleil's® The BeatlesTM LOVETM, and at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Las Vegas.

Other attractions will be the MAPP Online ProTM multi-purpose acoustical prediction program and the CompassTM control software for the GalileoTM 616 loudspeaker management system.

The highly popular repertoire of Meyer Sound loudspeakers for theater sound will also be on display, including the M'elodieTM ultra-compact high power curvilinear array with a power-to-size ratio that has astonished the industry. Other favorites shown on the booth will include the versatile UPJ-1P compact VariOTM loudspeaker, the palm-sized MM-4 miniature wide-range loudspeaker, the potent M1D ultra-compact subwoofer, and the UPM-1P ultra-compact wide coverage loudspeaker.

Additional UPJ-1P loudspeakers provided by Meyer Sound can be heard in action at the ESTA Foundation's Behind the Scenes Raffle at the Sapsis Rigging Entertainment Services (#525) and ESTA Foundation/Behind the Scenes (#625) booths.

On March 12 and 13, Meyer Sound will be holding the popular "Fundamentals of System Design, Implementation, and Optimization" seminar in Phoenix.
