UPJunior will be accompanied by other self-powered UltraSeries products, including the UPJ-1P, UPM-1P ultracompact wide coverage loudspeaker, and the industry-standard UPA-1P compact wide coverage loudspeaker. Other highlights will include the new ConstellationTM electroacoustic architecture, the MILOTM family of loudspeakers (including the internationally popular M'elodieTM ultracompact curvilinear array loudspeaker) and the MJF-212A high-power stage monitor, named in honor of the Montreux Jazz Festival and used in studio and at sold-out shows by artists ranging from Metallica to Diana Ross. The LCSTM Series Matrix3TM audio show control system will be sure to impress visitors. Featuring SpaceMap® multichannel panning and Wild TracksTM hard disk playback, Matrix3 is used around the world in theatrical productions by Cirque du Soleil®, by cruise ships, in theme parks, and in corporate AV applications. Demonstrations will be held throughout the four-day show and multilingual staff will be on hand to answer questions. New software updates will also be featured at the show: RMSTM 5.0, which adds USB capability, and Compass 1.8, which adds a 31-band graphic equalizer for creative sound shaping to each input of the GalileoTM loudspeaker management system. In addition to the myriad product offerings, visitors are invited to partake of great conversation, relaxing ambiance, and signature cocktails at the hospitality area. Attendees will be able to meet and talk with Meyer Sound's European technical support group and sales team, plus special guests Grammy Award-winner and Meyer Sound Consultant Engineer John Pellowe, and legendary front-of-house engineer and Meyer Sound Tour Liaison Manager Buford Jones, renowned for his work with Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, and a multitude of others. With all of this and more, this year is sure to be Meyer Sound's most exciting presence at Prolight + Sound to date.
