K.M.E presents its innovations at PLASA. This year’s highlights – Line Array, Remote Control Module V.2.0 and Individualized PA systems CA 4 and CA 8.

As an innovation in the fields of installation and system integration in networks K.M.E. shows the follow-up of the TCP/IP remote control module, the RCM V2.0 as an optional accessory for active speakers QSA 200 and QSA 500 D. Improvements and new features went into the development of RCM V2.0. Both, hardware and software were reengineered extensively.

The hardware part was completed by an PowerOverEthernet circuit which gives the user a redundant power supply for maximum safety within the installation. An automatic speaker impedance control system was included to complete the remote diagnosis feature. An integrated three-port Ethernet switch minimizes cabling complexity and the need for extensive external network equipment.

The firmware part of the module was changed by adding new functional modules (level meters, impedance check tool,…) and re-programming essential parts of the IP communication system (i.e. integration of the ‘KME-Control’ protocol over network port). Code optimization leads to faster loading times using the embedded web server and minimizes network traffic.

With CA 4, the powerful entertaining system of the upper class and CA 8, the powerful variable high-end Pro-Audio system K.M.E. presents two new active systems which can be customized individually to customer requirements. The Individualized PA systems can be optionally equipped with plug-in modules DDM, MM 2 and CM CA 4. Individual configuration as well as extensions and complements enable an adaption of the systems to the needs and changing requirements of the user.
