The HSL Group will be in attendance for the fourth year running after their busiest year to date!

HSL's commitment to providing outstanding services to the entertainment industry resulted in them being nominated for the first time - and winning - the accolade of ‘Favourite Lighting Company' at this year's TPi Awards Ceremony.

In the last 12 months, HSL has supplied numerous festivals and events including O2 Wireless Festival, Leeds, Rockness, The Full Ponty, Creamfields, Bestival, Knowsley Park, the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Uganda (CHOGM), the World Scout Jamboree, the 2007 Festival of Scouting, the Premier League All Stars Football tournament, Opera Holland Park and the War Child Benefit show at Brixton Academy.

Artists on tour have been Snow Patrol, Keane, Human League, Brand New, Jarvis Cocker, Massive Attack, The Klaxons, Lily Allen, and the Super Furry Animals.

This year's shows and events have included supplying lighting for ‘The People's Opening' Extravaganza to launch Liverpool's European Capital of Culture year, "Dream On", the launch of theatre producer Bill Kenwright's new boyband, Roisin Murphy's showcase at London's Roundhouse and the recent sell out UK tour of We Are Scientists.

During the last 12 months HSL's involvement in theatre based work has increased dramatically. West End shows include ‘Cabaret' and Vortex', whilst their touring productions include ‘Shout The Musical', ‘Evita', ‘Dr. Dolittle', ‘Blood Brothers', ‘Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and ‘Little Voice'.

As in previous years, HSL can be found near the Bar area in the Lawrence Hall, continuing to acknowledge the vital industry culture and business significance of socializing.
