Eventech Singapore Set To Replicate Scottish Show SuccessA brand new AV forum for Southeast Asia is gearing up to open its doors to the key decision makers involved in the entertainment and AV installation & integration sectors at the state of the art Singapore Expo from 25th - 26th June, 2008. Buoyed in confidence by the recent debut success of the evenTech Scotland B2B regional networking model where exhibitors expressed great satisfaction with the calibre of attendees the regional forum attracted - 97% stated that the quality of visitors had met or surpassed expectations.

Visitors to evenTech Singapore can expect an informative and tailored educational programme of seminars across the two-day format, alongside the trade exhibition and social networking functions - ensuring a vibrant and vital burst of essential industry information on their doorstep that is easily accessible without the impact of valuable time away from the office. Key exhibitors and sponsors of the inaugural event include DAS Audio, d&b audiotechnik, Audio Technica and ProAktiv Systems.

The venue was chosen specifically to comply with the evenTech ethos. Located just a five minute train ride from Changi airport, Singapore, the exhibition is conveniently and ideally placed as a day trip for both international visitors and locals alike.

Darren Brechin, Scattered Media director and evenTech co-creator, highlights the value evenTech will bring to the region, "AV equipment suppliers in south-east Asia and AV manufacturers from around the world had requested an event of this type for this region. In a region where the market is currently very strong, it is clear Singapore was lacking a networking event dedicated to this niche sector. Indeed, for example the Singapore Tourism Board has set a target of welcoming 17 million visitors by 2015 and as a result will invest a total of more than S$360 million through a TOurism TALent (TOTAL) Plan to train 74,000 tourism workers and enhance the professionalism of the tourism industry in the next three years. This will filter down the chain to AV upgrades and new facilities being built which will all require AV solutions - evenTech Singapore is where many of those relationships will be formed."

Further forums in the B2B regional networking series, all of which stand by a strong emphasis on industry education, have reported successful sales to date. Such is the confidence in evenTech Ireland 2008 (November 18-19 - RDS, Dublin), 75% of its stand space - spread across 1100m2 - has already been reserved.

The Irish event will also showcase The evenTech Bar - the all-important key feature area mock-up representing a fully functioning state of the art bar/club. Companies already confirmed as exhibitors include Ard Soilse Productions, Performance Audio & Light, Conscape, LTM - Lift Turn Move, Zest Audio, Unusual Rigging, Yamaha and Extron Electronics. Sennheiser Ireland has also confirmed both stand space and status as a ‘Launch Partner' for the show.

EvenTech Scotland 2009 (25-26 February 2009 - SECC, Glasgow) has also expanded its reach following its debut success earlier this year. To accommodate the necessary 200% increase in exhibition space - compared to the original and inaugural event - the Scottish networking forum, like evenTech Ireland, will also occupy 1100m2 of exhibition space. evenTech Scotland 2009 will be housed within Glasgow's SECC exhibition venue.

The debut evenTech Scotland 2008 forum format proved so successful that the majority of 2008 exhibitors have dramatically increased their exhibition space commitment to the 2009 Scottish networking forum. With space 50% reserved at this early stage, companies confirmed to exhibit include Adam Hall, Allen & Heath, CUK Audio and Live Systems. The forum will once again feature The evenTech Bar as well as another tailored made two-day series of industry seminars.

Commenting on the success of the model, which will have been replicated in three very different regional markets by the end of this year is Darren Brechin adds, "Our objective for all evenTech shows is to deliver quality over quantity; exhibitors would much rather meet twenty key contacts than 200 time wasters. Education is one of the fundamental foundations of all our evenTech events. It's a unique opportunity for the region to be educated on its doorstep by industry experts. We've taken full consideration of the needs and interests of visitors from across each region.

"Ultimately, it's a unique intimate networking forum where visitors will be able to see a variety of brands and products on an equal footing over two days in an educating environment not previously experienced before in the region."
