The new W-DMX Generation 3 product range will be on display, showing its new and improved features such as easy overview of signal strength and battery power, plus full implementation of DMX over Ethernet. The new product range has a high power radio output with up to 375mW and offers the most complete product line, from indoor to outdoor units with IP65 and Nema 6 standards. W-DMX has full support of RDM, is CE and ETSI certified in Europe and Asia, FCC certified in the Americas (awaiting UL), and is certified in Japan with ARIB STD-T66 radio standards. Lightfair attendees will be among the first to see the new Generation 3 Outdoor models of the S-1, R-512, and RP-512. These models are IP65 rated and robust enough to handle any weather conditions. W-DMX will also display the updated version of S-1 Transmitter, R-512 Receiver and the popular Micro model. The R-512 Pro Receiver and T-1 Transceiver will be shown as well, featuring a "one button technology" toggle, allowing the unit to easily switch from receiver to transmitter. "W-DMX has had great success with the architectural market, since these installations usually require control systems covering huge areas," says Niclas Arvidsson, Founder and International Sales Manager for Wireless Solution. "More and more installations are turning to our technology since it has been proven interference free and is plug and play." W-DMX currently has 37 BlackBox units being used in the Eurovision Song Contest, to be held May 10 and 12 in Helsinki, Finland. While not an architectural application, it is a massive production that doesn't take any chances with equipment failure. Further proof that W-DMX is the most dependable wireless DMX system on the market. In 2006, over 6000 units of W-DMX products were shipped worldwide and the company expects that number to more than double in 2007. The demand for safe plug-and-play wireless technology free from interference continues to increase. In addition, Wireless Solution is specifically targeting architectural lighting distributors to add to their worldwide network.
