tg7_front.jpg Building upon decades of experience in designing power amps for the international touring business, Electro-Voice is ringing-in another round in the high power championship. In a market ever hungry for more performance, less weight, intelligent control -- and, of course, the precise sound reproduction and legendary reliability of EV amps – EV have a new contender. Tour Grade!

The TG7 and TG5 models are superior state-of-the-art power amps based on a three-stage class H Grounded Bridge design and intelligent switching power supply technology. In a lean and mean 2U housing, and weighing in at under 15kg, they provide an astounding 2 x 3500 watts (TG7) and 2 x 1900 watts (TG5). Both models incorporate micro controllers and illuminated LCD displays to facilitate managing their enormous capabilities.

The Tour Grade power amplifiers also provide slots for IRIS-Net™ DSP modules -- such as the new RCM-26 -- to realize transparent network control and supervision.

EV’s preeminence in networked audio has been proven with the already legendary P3000RL DSP controlled remote amplifiers running IRIS-Net, delivering stellar performances in such challenging and high profile applications as the MTV Europe Awards, LIVE 8 and in the complex arena installations at the heart of the upcoming 2006 World Cup in Germany.
