Designed from the ground up for cinema sound applications, the DSi Series features leading edge Crown technology, with onboard digital signal processing, including crossovers, EQ filters, delays, output limiting, and system presets for matched performance with JBL Screen-Array speaker systems at the touch of a button. A front panel LCD screen guides installers through the setup process, while USB connectivity enables set-up from a Mac® or Windows® PC with the supplied Harman HiQnetTM System ArchitectTM software. Rear panel HD-15 connectors are provided for input/output connectivity between amplifiers, and the DSi-8M system monitor. The series includes three two-channel amplifiers, and an eight-channel projection booth system monitor. The DSi 1000 provides 500 watts per channel, the DSi 2000 700 watts per channel, and the DSi 4000 1200 watts per channel, all into 4 ohms. All units occupy 2U rack space, and at less than 19 pounds, these amplifiers weigh considerably less than anything of equivalent power. All three models incorporate Crown's extremely light and efficient switch-mode power supply. All three models use an industry standard 15-amp AC inlet. Complementing the range is the DSi-8M projection booth monitor, designed to work with bi-amplified cinema systems using the DSi Series amplifiers. The DSi Series is backed by Crown's Three-Year, No-Fault, Fully Transferable Warranty.
