new_blackboxWireless Solution Sweden AB is enjoying another successful post-PLASA, after its third consecutive year exhibiting at the popular lighting and sound trade show. There was enormous interest in their new range of W-DMX products on display, including W-DMX T-512 Outdoor Transceiver,  W-DMX D-512, the world's first wireless 3-way truss splitter, and W-DMX Micro, a mini DMX receiver with built-in battery backup of 6-8 hours use, signal display indication and battery lifetime. In addition, the RDM specification on W-DMX was shown for the first time at PLASA.

2006 has so far been a great year for W-DMX. In just 9 months, over 5000 units of W-DMX products been shipped worldwide. The demand for safe plug-and-play wireless technology free from interference continues to increase. More OEM partners have joined the wave of manufacturers offering Wireless DMX in their equipment. Most recently, the Alpha Range from Clay Paky, LSC Lighting Consoles from Australia, Swefog and Antari X-Series smoke machines have implemented W-DMX into their equipment.

In addition to new OEM partners, several new distributors have been appointed in key markets, including White Light in the United Kingdom and AVAB-CAC in Norway.

Wireless Solution hosted crowds of visitors at PLASA, eager to learn more about the interference-free W-DMX technology recently hailed in the Lighting & Sound International "Wireless DMX Shoot-Out". The large number of visitors only reinforced Wireless Solution's strong presence in the industry. Plus, all visitors to the stand were entered to win a W-DMX system valued at 1200 Euros.

Niclas Arvidsson of Wireless Solution said, "We were incredibly pleased at both the sheer number of visitors to the booth, and their positive reaction to our products. It's great to know that our products are making a difference in the way people work -- more efficiently and more dependably."

W-DMX by Wireless Solution Sweden AB is the only system on the market for Wireless DMX that is dual award-winning. First in 2004 with the PLASA Innovation Award for "Taking Wireless Data to new levels" with the W-DMX indoor system. At LDI in Orlando 2005, Wireless Solutions introduced the new IP65 range of W-DMX products and was awarded "Most promising prototype of the year" in the Lighting Accessory Category.
