The Xciter also controls the room’s automated rig which includes 8 Martin MAC 300 wash lights, 2 MAC 250 Krypton profile spots and 2 MX-10 scanners, as well as various LED downlights and a Jem ZR33 Hi-Mass fogger. John Bowden, Production Technician at Ministry of Sound London, commented, "The Xciter proved how easy it was to program a 108 channel LED wall. Simple copy and paste functions made programming a breeze. “Running the Martin fixtures was also a no stress affair with the powerful shape generator and delay effects that allowed impressive shows to be made instantly. Fast and efficient product support was also available via the Martin website whenever we tried to think outside of the square." A recent software upgrade has increased the Xciter’s functionality to make it more powerful both in programming and playback, while at the same time increasing its intuitiveness. A comprehensive training DVD adds to its ease of use.
