Presenter, Steve Marsh, asks each entrant a series of general knowledge questions, and a wrong answer results in the bucking bronco being turned up a notch. In true wild-west tradition, the girl who answers the most questions and stays on the longest is rewarded with the horns of the bull. Digital media company, ETV Ltd is responsible for producing all the editorial content on the channel and has selected the new Trantec S6000 wireless microphone system for this project. The UHF system is designed and engineered for broadcast users, and comprises antenna distribution, headphone monitor, and a small format PC. This internal PC collects data from the receivers and the whole system is monitored and controlled from a single screen, either locally or through any other PC on the network. The crew can then control functions such as transmitter battery status, remote setting of names, frequencies, mute level settings, and frequency scanning. Trantec Marketing Executive, Mark Parkhouse explains, "Despite the padded landing area, the S6000 wireless beltpacks come in for more than their fair share of bumps, grinds and bangs, and our Trantec system has the ability to withstand the abuse. As well as being great entertainment, this production presents an interesting challenge of ensuring the girls' answers can be clearly heard during their ordeal, and I am pleased with the S6000's performance throughout filming. A further benefit has been the small size of the beltpack transmitter which means the girls are discreetly kitted out, and they do not pick up too many bruises during their performance." ‘Tossed Off' features on Nuts TV which broadcasts on Freeview Channel 42 from 9.00pm to 1.00am.
