hey_-_by_r.nowakowski_2_-_ukslc.org.jpg Hey, one of the most famous polish rock bands recently played a concert in Warsaw's Roma Theater. The concert was arranged by MTV in the course of their "Unplugged" shows. It was the second edition of the popular MTV series in Poland. Lighting designer and operator Pawel "Spider" Pajak reported: "We've used a combination of LEDs and generics to create a nice and warm atmosphere in the auditorium. The most important thing was to find the best way to combine the look of the band and their live performances on the stage with the specific atmosphere of MTV Unplugged and the TV recording requirements."

"We had only two days for installation and rehearsals with the band," Pajak continued, "It was therefore very helpful to use two consoles, a grandMA full-size and a grandMA light, at the same time for the programming. It saved us a lot of time. During the show the consoles were working in full-tracking backup mode. We also used grandMA onPC and an MA NSP. grandMA onPC is a great tool if you need to save time for the setup of the show and all basic presets, effects, settings etc. As always I've specified MA Lighting products because in my opinion it is the most stable control system in market."

The lighting rig comprised amongst others of 24 x Martin MAC 2000 profile, 20 x Martin MAC TW-1, 8 x Martin MAC 600 and 5 x Martin MAC 2000 wash as well as different types of LED fixtures.

Tomasz Szwelicki worked as assistant and programmer. The set design was done by Ewa Gdowiok and Pawel ‘Spider'Pajak. Groda and the Roma Theater delivered the lighting equipment. The shows was produced by MTV Networks Polska.
