Tomcat UK Hosts First Ever PLASA Hoist School |

Tomcat UK is pleased to announce that for the first time the Tomcat Hoist and Truss Workshop will be offered at the PLASA Show. On September 10 and 11, 2007 participants will have the opportunity to receive top-notch training from industry experts. This highly informative workshop will be offered at Earls Court right where the trade show takes place. On 10 September, a representative of Columbus McKinnon will lead the class through of a full day of motor instruction. This hands-on course will feature the disassembly and reassembly of a one-ton CM Lodestar – with 3 students working on their own motor. The day will conclude with a discussion on maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. On 11 September, participants will receive a half-day of training on truss with Tomcat UK’s own Patrick Lockwood. This informative course will focus on design, use and theory. Demonstrations of load scenarios and truss inspection will also be a part of the training. The cost for Tomcat UK’s Hoist and Truss workshop is £250. However, if you register before 31 August, 2007 you will receive a special rate of £200. The registration fee is inclusive of all VAT, workshop materials and instruction as well as breaks.
