XL Video UK's MD Lee Spencer explained that the purchase is the latest in XL's ongoing commitment of offering their clients the very latest and best available technologies. XL chose to go with the Barco FLM HD machines after reviewing all the other comparable projectors currently available. Elements like ease of use and image quality stood out from the rest, and with HD becoming ever more popular, the time was absolutely right for the purchase.
Barco's FLM HD18 is the quietest 18,000 lumen native HD projector
currently available, and is compact and extremely bright due to its liquid
cooled optics (patent pending). The machine is designed specifically for busy
rental houses servicing a wide variety of applications including large events
and venues. A number of the new Barco HD units will be based at the Bromsgrove, West Midlands offices of Show Support (an XL Group company). XL's HD units are making their debut on the new Take That tour which kicked off last week.
