Summit Steel’s project management team has expanded with the addition of Simon Frost. Immediately before joining Summit, Frost was Rigging Manager at London’s Royal Albert Hall, a post he’d held since January 2005. 2007 has been Summit’s busiest year to date, with highlights including being appointed as house riggers for the newly opened O2 Arena in June. This alone prompted an immediate need for additional experienced staff. Frost brings a wealth of valuable rigging industry knowledge with him along with excellent communication and client liaison skills. His industry career kicked off at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he studied a degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre. He was also one of the riggers for the Millennium Dome’s renowned Central Show and has worked as a freelance At Summit he will be dealing with a selection of key projects and working alongside existing account handlers Jon Bray, Chris Walker and Jay Call. Jon Bray comments, “We’re naturally delighted at having someone of Simon’s calibre onboard, and look forward to a great working relationship”. Frost adds, I have always been impressed with Summit’s approach, their attention to detail, their work ethic and their dedication to getting everything just right. I am really looking forward to being onboard”.
