London’s Sounds Expo will witness a number of UK product debuts and promotions on the Shure Distribution stand.

Firstly, Shure’s E4c sounds isolating earphones will make their UK debut, having already made headlines, as they were one of this year's International CES Innovations 2005 Award honorees. They are the perfect accessory for music lovers who are serious about sound quality and detail, and are also the lightest in Shure's family of E Series earphones and mirror the iconic design of the iPod.

Phonic’s Helix Boards will also be unveiled and consist of two models; the Helix Board 12 is a 12 input compact mixer with 4 mic/line input channels, two paired stereo input channels and two stereo AUX returns. While the Helix Board 17 is a 17 input compact mixer with five mic/line input channels, it has three paired stereo input channels and three stereo AUX returns. Phonic USB-enabled mixers gives all the functionality of a dedicated Audio/Digital converter for a fraction of the price.

Another introduction at the show is Phonic’s Powerpod 865 Plus powered mixer incorporating 8 mic and 10 line inputs, with each channel featuring 3-band EQ (2 channels with sweepable mids), as well as monitor and effect sends. This ergonomically designed moulded cabinet can be used as a desktop or rack-mounted (optional rack mount kit available) mixer. Other notable features include +48V phantom power, vocal elimination, feedback detection, solid Phonic system (sPs) speaker enhancement and two 300 Watt power amplifiers. An integrated 24-bit digital multi-effect processor, features 16 programs with parameter, tap delay and foot switch control. For those looking for a competitively priced powered mixer, with an excellent feature set that sounds superb, it is aesthetically pleasing and is easy to transport with built-in handles.

In addition, arguably the highlight of the stand will be the presence of The Thrillst drum kit. What’s more, the Irish band have generously signed two Shure SM58 mics, which are up for grabs during the show, along with Shure PGX Wireless Systems.
