With the appointment of Phil Shuker to the company as Sales Director, PSL is restructuring its sales and account management team to place new emphasis on client relationships. Working alongside Shuker, Darren Glossop will take on overall responsibility for PSL's current client base in his new role as Client Services Director. According to MD Gary Davis, "PSL has identified two key roles in its management team, that of winning new contracts and bringing new customers into the fold, and the equally vital task of nurturing our clients and building enduring relationships with them." Formerly at MICE Group plc, Phil Shuker filled a number of sales roles in his 13 years with the company, as Sales Director with Silver-Knight Exhibitions, and MICE Kraftwork in Dubai, and latterly as Client Services Director with MICE International London. During his tenure at MICE, he was responsible for winning business and managing a stellar list of blue-chips, including Ford, Emirates Airlines, Microsoft, British Airways, O2, Nike, Jaguar and Peugeot. Commenting on his move to PSL's HQ in Potters Bar, he talks of "a fresh and new challenge, still within the industry, with a company that has clear business objectives to grow its client base. PSL has recognised the importance of clients, new business as well as existing accounts. It will be exciting for me to go out into the market with the promise of full-service delivery for all live events. PSL has the in-house ability to respond to the way high-profile blue-chip companies think, in terms of their consumers' lifestyle and experiential marketing: we can help them drive home their brand messages with creativity, production and technology."
