A
regular exhibitor at ABTT, PRG Europe was there promoting the broad array of
products and services it offers to national and regional theatres and touring
groups, both in the UK and Europe. PRG Europe's equipment list is unsurpassed,
from moving lights to mirror balls, followspots to fog, all of which are being
put to good use on the brilliant new West End show Avenue Q, which is now previewing before opening at the Noel Coward
Theatre on June 28.
Currently
gearing up for Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, which
opens in London in September, PRG Europe also has equipment out on Sinatra at
the London Palladium, Lion King at the Lyceum, the UK and international tour of
My Fair Lady, the current London production and international tour of Stomp,
and Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales, plus many other regional and
touring shows.
Alan Thomson, director, and Peter Marshall,
Senior Production Account Manager at PRG Europe, who between them have more
years of experience of theatre lighting than they care to count, were both at
ABTT to meet and talk to friends and colleagues, along with project managers
Loz Wilcox and Craig Bennett.
