Software developer Stardraw.com is pleased to announce two new members of the growing community of Certified Programmers for Stardraw's multi-award-winning application, Stardraw Control; they are James Heliker who runs TVBR Studios in San Bernadino, CA, and Joel Hauxwell of Total Audio Solutions in the UK. TVBR Studios started life as a music recording and production facility, but has branched out in the last three years into control system design and integration. "I first started experimenting with Stardraw Control for my own purposes in the context of music production, where system control is surprisingly important," explained Heliker. "I then started looking at different markets for control and built a client base. However, I hit the limits of traditional control solutions when I wanted to control multiple systems that can interact with each other. At this point I started to investigate and test Stardraw Control more thoroughly and realized that this was truly "intelligent" control. Within Stardraw Control you can fire the appropriate command for the appropriate action. As far as I'm concerned, it's head and shoulders above anything else we've seen so far." Total Audio Solutions' Joel Hauxwell agrees. "We are a one-stop shop here at TAS - we offer a full service from design, through installation and full system support, and we have a vast number of projects on the go at any one time. I'm anticipating that Stardraw Control will be making our lives a lot easier on many of those projects, as well as weighing a lot less on our customers' bank balance!" "We've spent a lot of time road-testing Stardraw Control - in fact I've done everything I can to try and crash it, but so far it's been rock solid," continued Hauxwell. "I've gone out of my way to find really obscure products requiring complex custom drivers which I've written myself, but they have all worked. I am genuinely impressed with the results. And what's more, even the really tricky stuff still only takes a maximum of a few hours to write, thanks to the fact that Stardraw Control uses C# on a .NET platform and it's completely open architecture. If we were in an AMX or a Crestron world, we'd be into days, not hours of programming time, all billable to the client at enormous cost. Stardraw Control wins every time because it's extraordinarily simple and flexible to use, and we can make it do exactly what we want it do - and what's more, we can do it ourselves without any intervention from the manufacturer. It's an incredibly useful tool" Certified programmers are independent companies and individuals who have proven skills and aptitudes in delivering Stardraw Control solutions. For integrators embarking on a project using Stardraw Control who feel they may need help in certain areas, be it in writing drivers, UI design and programming or indeed anything to do with the deployment of Stardraw Control, the community of Stardraw Control Certified Programmers is a valuable resource.
