Meyer Sound is gearing up to be a high-profile exhibitor (and nearly the only American one) at the Siel trade show in Paris, recognized as France's premier exhibition for the broad-based live entertainment and nightlife industries.  Visitors to the Meyer Sound/Best Audio stand will have an opportunity to examine a wide range of Meyer Sound products, hear informative presentations, and perhaps win the grand prize in the company's drawing at the booth: a free trip for two to the San Francisco Bay Area, including a VIP tour of the Meyer Sound factory.

Meyer Sound's participation at Siel is a coordinated effort with Best Audio, the company's French distributor. Best Audio's co-sponsorship and logistical support demonstrate a strong commitment to further advance Meyer Sound's growing share of the sound reinforcement market in Western Europe.

Featured at the stand will be a prototype of Meyer Sound's new Galileo loudspeaker management system. The system is constituted of the Galileo 616, a 6-input/16-output high-resolution digital loudspeaker processor, along with Compass™ control software. The system represents Meyer Sound's first foray into a fully digital audio product and offers extensive facilities for optimizing and driving Meyer Sound systems of all sizes.

Two members of the expanding MILO family will also be shown: the original MILO high power curvilinear array loudspeaker (recipient of a 2004 TEC award), and the MILO 120 high-power expanded coverage curvilinear array loudspeaker. The 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer is also expected to draw considerable interest, having been acclaimed worldwide for its unprecedented marriage of breathtaking power and musical warmth.

Visitors interested in nightclub and theatre applications will be investigating the extremely popular M1D ultra-compact curvilinear array loudspeaker, a diminutive system that is finding its way into top venues across the continent.  Other featured products in the installation range include the UPJ-1P compact VariO™, MM-4 miniature wide-range, and UPM-1P compact wide coverage loudspeakers.

A prize drawing will be held on the stand each day, with the grand prize drawing being held on the show's last day.
