UK mixer manufacturer, Allen & Heath, has made a significant change to its distribution structure in the UK by appointing John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd. (JHS) as the exclusive distributor for the PA and ZED Series of small format mixers.

"Since adding the ZED Series to the range, Allen & Heath's products are now more diverse than ever with consoles for touring systems to bedroom DJ's. Because of this, it was vital we found the correct distribution vehicle to cater for such diversity," explains A&H director of sales, Bob Goleniowski. "Recently we have been examining how to broaden our reach in the UK MI sector. Knowing the JHS team well, it was clear they were ideal for the role. The products fit seamlessly into their portfolio, and with an 11-strong sales force on the ground servicing the UK, JHS was the logical choice to take the brand forward."

Effective from September 2008, JHS will be responsible for the sales and distribution of the PA Series of powered and unpowered stereo mixers and the ZED Series of small format USB mixers. The PA Series comprises the PA-12CP and PA-20CP powered mixers with PA12, PA20 and PA28 stereo mixers, whilst the new ZED Series comprises the ZED-14 and ZED-24 2 bus mixers, ZED-12FX and ZED-22FX effects mixers, with ZED-420, ZED-428 and ZED-436 4-bus mixers.

A selection of consoles from Allen & Heath's ZED and PA mixer series will be displayed on the HK Audio/JHS stand E62 at PLASA. Allen & Heath will be exhibiting on stand E16, displaying mixers from across the range, including the latest developments in its iLive digital mixing system.
