Hoist UK Ltd is pleased to announce a new strategic alliance with Litestructures GB Ltd, the UK’s premier manufacturer of trussing and staging systems. The alliance allows both Hoist UK Ltd and Litestructures GB Ltd to distribute each others products and services. Hoist UK’s Tony Dickson says “This is a great opportunity for both companies, the natural union of truss and motors makes this a symbiotic relationship, you can’t think of one product without thinking about the other. By forming this relationship we can offer the end user a very economic and customer orientated service. The partnership gives the opportunity to offer a realistic one stop shop for rigging projects in entertainment, retail and industrial applications”. Litestructures Adrian Brooks commented “I have known and worked with Tony Dickson for several years on different projects, when he and Paul set up their own company I was really pleased that Litestructures were amongst the first people to be approached by Hoist UK. The decision to work together had obvious value”. The deal gives Litestructures unparalleled facilities with the combination of industry standard trussing, decking, and stage sets along with chain hoists and control all housed under one roof alongside their state of the art Rehearsal Studio. Although this is the official announcement both companies have been working together for some time now “I think that the inaugural Hoist UK Truss and Motor School back in April was the point at which we all realised that this was both a practical and natural arrangement. We are all like minded and are willing to go the extra mile for the client, and I think the combined experience and resources will set us apart from the rest in our field” said Hoist UK’s Paul Jordan. In real terms this alliance will create an innovative new team with genuine practical experience and expertise within the touring and event industry offering a full understanding of the engineering and legislative requirements for temporary and permanent installations in the UK. “We hope to work closely with the design team at Litestructures and help with the specialist lifting requirements of the tours coming through the studio” says Dickson. “We have already seen the benefits of using Verlinde hoists in a number of innovative applications” adds Litestructures’ Lee Brooks. “We’re keen to expand on this and to introduce the combined technologies to the lighting designers, production companies and architects that we have using our facilities on a day to day basis” The partnership will be cemented at PLASA07 with Hoist UK taking a resident area on the Litestructures stand, showcasing a range of lifting products and offering consultation on projects, maintenance and the safety issues facing the industry as a whole. …./cont Backed up by the presence of Litestructures experienced CAD designers and project managers, it will make the stand the perfect place to find the solution to any challenge. Finally, in what we think is a unique move within the industry, when visiting either web site you can make an on line enquiry for truss or motors DIRECTLY to Litestructures or Hoist UK and your request will be dealt with by the relevant companies in consultation, cutting out the middle man and any misinterpretation of your request, saving you time and money. Remember “Safety Above All”
