Johannesburg based DWR Distribution has been appointed as the official South African distributor for ArKaos, the leading Belgian-based digital media control technology and software provider.

This deal was cemented recently when DWR's technical Manager Nic Britz visited the Prolight + Sound trade show in Frankfurt, and was introduced to the ArKaos team via Avolites, who also have a close working relationship with them.

DWR's MD Duncan Riley says, "With the ever increasing convergence between the visual mediums of lighting and video for a myriad of live events, it was essential for us to offer a good quality, medium-priced digital media server solution with plenty of flexible control options".
