Denon DJ's new DN-HD2500 professional media player and controller has won two prestigious industry awards at this year's NAMM 2007 exhibition in North America. The breakthrough device was honoured with both the Crystal Disc Award for Best and Most Innovative Product from DJZone.com, and Best and Most Innovative Product from the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (NAME). The Denon DN-HD2500 is a complete portable system solution that addresses virtually all the needs of the working DJ. Rugged and reliable, it is designed for everything from small parties to weddings, club installations, outdoor events or anywhere that professional-quality, reliable operation is required. Key to the DN-HD2500's functionality is its ability to bring together and provide access to huge music libraries from virtually all-existing storage media, including Apple iPods and USB Flash Drives. For total flexibility, the DN-HD2500 also includes an internal 40GB HDD hard drive intended for a DJ's mainstream party music, with the added ability to connect multiple USB 2.0 Mass Storage Class drives for an extended library. This utility allows the DN-HD2500 to be used as a primary ‘plug and play' full featured compact system. The unit also offers complete command and control over Denon dual-tray CD/MP3 players such as the Model DN-D4500 and DN-D4000 drive section. One of the most notable features of the DN-HD2500 is the world's first Next File Function with Crossfade. This breakthrough lets DJs store thousands of favourite songs on the internal HDD or external USB device, then play songs from different sources back to back. They may then search for their next file by any criteria (without interrupting playback) and crossfade seamlessly to that file for a smooth non-stop mix upon command. The DN-HD2500 comes complete with Denon DJ's Music Manager software and incorporates a highly refined search system among its many sophisticated features and advanced on-board effects. DJs can easily activate and have full parameter control with a unique Dry/Wet mix control of the four effects: Flanger, Filter (High-Mid-Low), Echo and world's first Echo/Loop. Additionally, for DJs who perform long mix transitions and require high pitch resolution, the HD2500 offers .02% for the 4% pitch range and .05% for the 10/16% pitch range. 24%/50%/100% ranges are also available. Designed with a removable hard drive for easy maintenance, and featuring special shock-resistant mounting, the Denon DJ DN-HD2500 will begin shippping in March.
