CUK Audio, the UK and Ireland distributor of Audica Professional, is pleased to announce the appointment of Manchester-based RW Salt Communications as main sub-distributor for Audica Professional for the AV and audio communications market sectors.

Commenting on the appointment, CUK MD, Stuart Thomson, said, “Covering background music, commercial AV and audio comms, the potential market for Audica Professional is simply enormous. Growth with major installers into national pub, restaurant and retail chains in particular has been very strong over the past twelve months and this partnership with RW Salt is an important next step in expanding our distribution; to take the product to the wider market, and also focus on some sectors that we do not currently address. Our direct distribution to our appointed installers remains unchanged and we see the market served by RW Salt as very complementary to this”

CUK Sales Manager, Tom Blackwell, who signed the deal with RW Salt, added, “An important consideration of this deal was not simply to serve a larger market, but to appoint a partner that shared our attitudes to doing business. Glasgow-based CUK Audio is also the UK distributor for Community Professional Loudspeakers, Digigram, DIS Danish Interpretation Systems, InOut Digital and Kind Audio. The agreement is with immediate effect and the Audica Professional line is included in the new RW Salt catalogue now available.
