East Tennessee Economic Council is a membership organization that provides weekly programs on East Tennessee business. The group focuses on technology, service and manufacturing businesses revolving around science, energy, national and homeland security, and environmental management that have grown out of the federal workplaces in Oak Ridge, as well as the Tennessee Valley Authority and the University of Tennessee.
