On October 20, 2006, Bandit Lites CEO Michael T. Strickland, spoke with the Oak Ridge National Laboratories and East Tennessee Economic Council on the success and history of Bandit Lites. The gathering was a collection of the best and brightest minds from the Nuclear Energy Industry. The group gained insight into the history and strategic planning behind Bandit Lites as it has grown to become a global power in the entertainment. Strickland joins an exclusive list of speakers that includes Senator Al Gore, Senator Howard Baker, Michael Dell, Warren Buffet and other such luminaries. East Tennessee Economic Council is a membership organization that provides weekly programs on East Tennessee business. The group focuses on technology, service and manufacturing businesses revolving around science, energy, national and homeland security, and environmental management that have grown out of the federal workplaces in Oak Ridge, as well as the Tennessee Valley Authority and the University of Tennessee.
