Bandit CEO Participates In PGA 2007 Nationwide Tour

Bandit Lites CEO, Michael T. Strickland recently participated in The Knoxville Open.  One of the four original events of the Nationwide Tour, the Knoxville Open took place June 21-24th at the Fox Den Country Club. 

Strickland competed in the Pro-Am Classic, which took place on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 and included 18 holes of golf as well as lunch, dinner and a reception.  He teamed up with Knoxville Mayer, Mike Ragsdale, Pro, Michael Letzig, and the President of Jewelry Television, Charles Wagner for the event.

The weeklong festivities surrounding the Open also included the Knoxville Open Pro-Am and special events such as hole-in-one and long drive contests.  Pro, Chez Reavie won the Open, shooting a 5-under-par 67 to finish at 18 under for the tournament. This is Reavie's first victory on the Nationwide Tour. 

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley (BGCTNV) are the benefiting charity of the Knoxville Open, receiving more than $1,000,000 from the event. Now being operated by Knox Area Golf Charities, the tournament will continue to support the BGCTNV along with several other charities.
