The idea behind the v-Base yoke (16 bit resolution) of Brother, Brother & Sons is to motorize a series of high power projectors (10 – 20,000 ANSI Lumen). The v-Base construction is very rigid to ensure repeatability and accuracy. The control of pan (410°), tilt (280°) motorized zoom and focus is done directly from motor drivers to ensure good repeatability and timed movements.

Using the built in DMX to RS232 interface, selected parameters of the video projectors can be controlled via a standard DMX512 lighting console. Most features that are available via RS232 control in the projectors can be implemented as custom software on request. The v-Base can be used for different projectors like Digital Projections, Barco R-Series, Sanyo, Christie Roadster Series - further projectors could be used on request.
