High End Systems has launched ArenaView, a complete turnkey multimedia presentation package for large-scale events. HES recently demonstrated the system at the American Airlines Center to open the first round of the NBA playoffs for the Dallas Mavericks and the NHL playoffs for the Dallas Stars. InfoComm trade show attendees will see a demo of the system at High End Systems' booth.

Says HES executive vice president Bill Morris: "ArenaView allows venues to not only use the entire venue as a creative palette, but as a source of creative revenue for sporting events, concerts, corporate events - any event that needs a large venue to hold it."

The ArenaView package transforms an arena or any other large space into a visual showcase by incorporating: a high-output, hi-resolution (12K, 16K, or 20K ANSI lumens) Christie projector with the HES mirror-based moving Orbital Head; an HES Catalyst Media Server, which is pre-loaded with digital content including media libraries, stock clips, stills and can create real time color and geometric effects; and a Hog iPC console for control.

The many creative ways to use ArenaView include: transforming the venue floor (or ceiling) into a projected advertising space; incorporating and changing video on-the-fly as excitement happens; holding audience attention during breaks in the action; selling customizable sponsor ad packages and let the system pay for itself; engaging the crowd in interactive events, teasers, games; synchronizing with broadcast output and/or scoreboards; hitting virtually any spot in the building with video or graphics content; and creating return on investment (ROI) by selling to facility renters.
