Visualization specialist Barco is proud to announce the launch of its very latest projector platform, the FLM series, specifically built for the rental and staging market. Thanks to its extreme brightness, compact design and low noise, the FLM projector is designed to be the perfect solution for the rental and staging applications in large events and venues where brightness and quality cannot be compromised. The first projector in the FLM series to be launched is the FLM R20+ featuring a high contrast 3-chip DLP engine based on Texas Instruments technology. The FLM R20+ has a true native SXGA + resolution, 20,000 centre lumens and a contrast ratio of 1800:1. During the design process of the long awaited FLM series, Barco focused on developing not only a high bright projector but one which was also quiet and compact. Ease of set up, flexible installation, swift transporting and servicing were also all key design criteria. The FLM boasts fully sealed optics and impressive lamp maintenance ensuring a lower cost of ownership. The lens range of the industry leading Barco RLM and SLM projector series can be re-used on the FLM series, meaning there is no need for further investment in new lenses. Barco has also factored in advanced 10 bit processing which ensures exceptional video performance. The FLM has options for additional software plug-ins which deliver even more functionality for features such as multi-screen applications and advanced setting controls. The FLM will be shown for the first time at Integrated Systems Europe, taking place from 1 to 3 February 2006 at Brussels Expo, Belgium (Large Venue Display Area).
