If you have no knowledge on the Pearl 2000 or 2004 or just know some small bits and would like to know more about the pearl then this course is for you.

The course sits 4 people, if it is full then it will be two people to one desk. During the course you will learn how to Patch a Dimmer, Patch a Fixture, Record a Playback, Record a fixture, Record by channel, Record a Chase, Unfolding and editing a chase, Use a shape Generator, and also learn about other topics such as Personalities etc. The course costs £35.25 (inc. VAT) which I think is good value for the amount you can learn. While learning each part of the desk you will be using various fixtures suck as Martin wash/spots Robe spots, Parcans, Studio Spots etc.

The course is run at a steady pace and questions can be asked anything though-out the time. It runs for 6 hours (10am - 4pm) and a meal is included in the price. Directions are supplied before the course either by post or e-mail and they are really easy to understand and the Tube is about 5 min walk to the Avolites warehouse when you arrive at the warehouse you are greeted with a warm welcome and are offered a drink. Also at the end of the course you receive a Booklet containing note's of everything that was covered incase by the time you get home you have forgotten something that was said and you have a choice of a free t-shirt or laptop bag.
